George Series:
1) GEORGE AND HIS HORSE BILL (DODD MEAD [USA] 1948) ILLUSTRATED BY PAUL BROWN Fairly rare. SUMMARY: George loves his horse Bill, but even he would be the first to admit that the big long-eared animal would never win any prizes for his looks. So he decides to train him to race over jumps instead of for the show ring.
2) GEORGE AND HIS HORSE GO WEST (DODD MEAD [USA] 1952) ILLUSTRATED BY PAUL BROWN Rare.
Collector's Info: Both hard to find, especially outside of the USA, with the second being a bit rarer than the first. Perhaps because of the Paul Brown illustrations, they can be expensive.
